Working with Drafts (aka Sandbox)

Added by Brian Schwartz almost 8 years ago

If you are doing some testing of a new page, or are working on a page you don't necessarily want published on your main pubwriter site, you can utilize your drafts folder.

This is especially important if you doing any testing of html snippets that you want to test the rendering on.

Or...

If you are making changes to an existing page, it's not a bad idea (especially if you want to be sure not to lose anything in the original) to save a copy to drafts, and work on it there.

Just create (or copy) your file into your pubwriter/drafts folder and you can visit the page on your website adding the /drafts/ in the URL.

For example:

http://www.pubwriter.com/drafts/example.md

Notice how I added the /drafts/ before the .md filename?
