Watching or Unwatching feature
There are a couple of important things to understand about the watch and 'watchers' feature in AuthorDock.
First of all, and most important, if you want someone other than the person the item is assigned to get a notification whenever you make an update, you need to be sure they are listed on the 'Watchers' list:
Secondly, you can add yourself to get email notifications whenever:
- A milestone item has been updated
- Something has been added/edited in your Pages
- Something has been added to a Q&A

Also, it is often helpful to turn off notifications for updates or changes you make yourself. Just go into your My Account and check the 'I don't want to be notified of changes that I make myself' option:
