Q&A with Rich Cassaro

I´m planning to charge $27 for the eBook on Amazon, but only $22 for the eBook on my own websites.

If you want to earn a 70% royalty, Amazon requires that you set your Kindle price between $2.99-$9.99. Otherwise, they pay 35%.

What´s "legal" and what´s "illegal" in terms of Amazon´s rules and regulations. For example, am I allowed to sell my eBook simultaneously on Amazon and also on my own website?

The only time you are required to give Amazon an exclusive on your eBook edition (any digital version) is when you enroll in KDP Select, and then they require a 3-month exclusive. There are many benefits to enrolling in KDP Select, but to get the most from them, you need to have reviews on your book. For this reason, I don't advise my clients to enroll in KDP Select until they have some reviews (ideally more than 10) on their book.

Can you help me figure out a way to sell the eBook on my own website, so that I can deliver it directly to my readers?

PubWriter provides a convenient web canvas that you can use for sales pages, hidden URLs, and e-commerce.

I need to publish an eBook but I don´t have any idea how the whole system works, and I don´t want to make any dumb mistakes, so I´m willing to pay someone not only to create the eBook for me, but for consultation (i.e., to explain to me what´s the best route to take, considering my goals).

That's why we're here!
